Gem City Market Future Development

The Gem City Market in Dayton, Ohio is looking to develop a mixed use building on the site adjacent to the grocery store. The first floor will be retail, the second floor residential. For this project I decided to use the first floor to design a small bookstore with seating available to hopefully encourage people to hangout for a bit. With the grocery store next door, the idea is that the guests will hopefully go pick up lunch or a drink at the Gem City Market, and then head to the bookstore to hangout and read.

The second floor contains 2 spacious one-bedroom units. The rooftop access is for anyone that wants to hangout, and has seating for all to enjoy.
